KINGMAN — Rosa Mae (Trueblood) McClure, 72, 625 E. Vine St., Kingman, died at 8:45 p.m. on Aug. 18, 1999, in the emergency room of Carle Hospital, Urbana, Ill. Born May 30, 1927, in Warren County, she was the daughter of Milburn and Clara Dalton Trueblood. She married Luther E. McClure June 17, 1950, in Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1975. She had resided in Attica, Steam Corner and Veedersburg, and has resided in Kingman for the past three years. She and her husband formerly owned and operated the Trojan Cafe in Covington. Later she was employed by ATI in Danville, Ill. She was a custodian at Southeast Fountain Elementary School for several years before she retired. She enjoyed crocheting and craft work. She liked to play the organ and enjoyed traveling to flea markets. Survivors include: daughters, Gayle (James) Woolwine, Kigman, Debbie (Robert) Throckmorton, Veedersburg; son, Doug McClure, Attica; sister, Margaret “Peggy" Smith, Kingman; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a great-grandson. Funeral services were 10 a.m., Monday at the Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the Osborne Prairie Cemetery near Stone Bluff. – jlr
