McCLURE, Fred W. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Fred W. McClure of Veedersburg, age 78, died Saturday evening, March 27, in Williamsport Community Hospital. He was born in Fountain County, August 10, 1903, the son of George and Florence Coffing McClure. February 12, 1927, he married Iola McLaughlin, who survives. He was a member of Sterling Christian Church.

  Also surviving are four sons, Fred of Linton, Richard of Cayuga, Robert and James, both of Veedersburg; a sister, Elizabeth Roman of Covington; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lenora Lindquist, a grandson and three brothers.

   Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Rev. Richard Throckmorton officiating. Burial was in Osborne Prairie Cemetery. – thanks to S
