William McClain, 73, died Wednesday in the Williamsport Community Hospital. He was born July 11, 1883 in Stringtown, the son of John and Sarah Allen McClain. He was unmarried and is survived by a nephew, Russell Etchison of Danville. A brother and a sister preceded him in death. Funeral services will be at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Charles Jones officiating. Burial will be in Snoddy Cemetery south of Covington.
