Veedersburg --- Mrs. Bonnie McClain, 59 years old, died at 8 p. m. Saturday at her home here two hours after suffering a paralytic stroke. A life-long resident of Fountain county, Mrs. McClain was born on a farm near Veedersburg June 9, 1891, the daughter of Jeremiah and Uree McClain Hall. On Oct. 26, 1912, she was married to Albert J. McClain, who died June 5, 1941. She was a member of the Veedersburg EUB church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Esther Messmore and Mrs. Frances Hershberger, both of Veedersburg; three sons, Jacob, of Lansing, Mich., Albert of Attica, and Jerry of Waukegan, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. DeHaven, Mrs. Estel Smith, and Mrs. Amanda Stroupe, all of Veedersburg; a brother, Mahlon Hall, of Veedersburg, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the Veedersburg EUB church by Rev. Guy Walters. Rev. Robert Todd will assist. Burial will be in the Union cemetery.
