Lafayette—Russell L. McCaw, 83, 3053 Comanche Drive, Lafayette, died early Tuesday, March 28, 1989 at his residence. He had been in failing health for some time.
He was born Jan. 7, 1906 in Owen County and had been a resident of Lafayette for most of his life. He was married May 6, 1944 to Pauline Snyder, who survives.
He had been employed at Landis & Gyr for 27 years, retiring in 1971.
He was a member of Kossuth Street Baptist Church.
Surviving besides his wife are two brothers, Raymond, Attica, and Richard, Hillsboro, Ill.; a stepson, Paul Robert Brant, Lafayette; a stepdaughter, Betty Frazier, West Lafayette; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers.
There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today (Friday) in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Neil Shupp officiating. Burial will be in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
