McCARTY, Charity - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Miss Charity McCarty, 79, died at 11 a.m. Monday at the home of a nephew, Robert Galloway near Veedersburg.

Born Oct 11, 1869 in Fountain County, she was the daughter of William and Hannah Romine McCarty of Virginia. She spent most of her life in the Salem community north of Veedersburg.  Surviving are several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, give brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Bodine & Shelby Funereal Home. - transcribed by kbz
