COVINGTON - John E. McCann, age 45, a former resident of Fountain County, died at his home at Pawhuska, Okla., on Tuesday, Jan. 20. Mr. McCann was born April 25, 1924, the son of the late Harold E. and Grace Taylor McCann. He attended Rabb School in Wabash Township and was graduated from Kingman High School. He had resided in Oklahoma for the past five years. Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Caroline Masena and Miss Diana McCann of Burlington, Iowa; one son, Raymond L. serving with the Armed Forces in Vietnam; one sister, Mrs. Betty Townley; two brothers, William D. of Veedersburg and Alvin F. of Bargersville, Ind., and two grandchildren. Two aunts, Mrs. Dorothy Allen of Mellott and Mrs. Agnes Keller of Covington Rt. 3, also survive. Funeral services and burial were at Barnsdall,, Okla., on Tuesday. -- jlr
