Jeanette W. McCance, 81, Crawfordsville died 7:23 p.m. Monday in her residence.  Mrs. McCance retired from RR Donnelleys after 30 years of employment where she worked in bindery and mail room.  She was a welder at Oregon Shipyards during WWII.  Her memberships included Yountsville Community Church and Donnelley Club.  She was a 1942 Tangier HS graduate. She was born Dec 14, 1923 at Fountain County to Donald and Bernice Newnum Walter. She married Harry Mathison. They divorced. She married Guy McCance Oct 23, 1971 at Crawfordsville.  He survives.  Also surviving are son David, Crawfordsville, stepdaughter Karen (George) Venis, Crawfordsville; three stepsons, Larry and Michael (Ramona) both of Crawfordsville and David (Kay), Lafayette;  sister Phyllis (John) Vancleave, Albuquerque, NM; brother Harry (Gwen) Lasley, Sandy, Ore;  7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  A grandson, daughter-in-law Pamela McCance and four sisters are deceased.  Funeral services are scheduled 11 a.m. Thursday in Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 315 S. Washington St, Crawfordsville with the Revs. Alan Goff and Jim Ireland officiating.  Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Waveland.  Friends may call 4-7 p.m. today in the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to Yountsville Community Church, 4350 W Indiana 32, Crawfordsville, Ind 47933.  – kbz
