Floyd Otis McCance, 62, 508 Russell Ave, died at 11:12 a.m. Tuesday in Culver Hospital where he had been a patient the last 16 days. A farmer most of his life, he moved to Montgomery County in 1918. He was a member of the Christian Church at Mechanicsburg. He was born April 13, 1900 in Clinton County the son of Bert and Viola Camp McCance. On Nov 4, 1920, he married Mary Stevens in Crawfordsville. Surviving is his wife, a son, Guy McCance, Rt 3; two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Perkins, Country Club Road and Mrs. Bonnie Cohee, Rt 4, 7 grandchildren, an aunt, 3 uncles and number of cousins. Friends may call at the family residence after 2 p.m. Wednesday until noon Thursday when the body will be taken to the Servies Funeral home in Waynetown. Services will be there at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. C.H. Loveland, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church officiating. Burial in Masonic Cemetery, Waynetown. - kbz
