McCANCE, Clara Fultz - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Clara Fultz McCance of Cayuga, age 74, died Friday morning, September 3, at the home of her daughter, Coralea Edwards of RR 1, Cayuga. She was born in Humrick, Illinois, January 4, 1908, the daughter of John and Cora Mae Oley Fultz. A member of Cayuga Christian Church and Delta Theta Tau sorority, she recently resigned from the Cayuga Town Board for health reasons. She retired from the Cayuga branch of Citizens State Bank in 1973.

  Also surviving are two sisters, Nina Fisher and Daisy Jackson, both of Danville, Illinois; two brothers, Leo Fultz of Perrysville and Ben Fultz of Kingman; two grandsons and two great grandsons.

  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga with Rev. Wendell Adams officiating. Burial was in Miller Cemetery near Lodi. - thanks to S
