VEEDERSBURG - Omer McCalment, 80, a former Veedersburg resident, died Wednesday, September 10, while mowing the yard at this home in Petosky, Mich. He is survived by his wife, Marguerite, one son, Frank, a daughter, Elinor, and grandchildren, a half-sister, Mrs. Sylvia Johnson, Urbana, Ill. and a step-sister, Mrs. Goldie Minick, Veedersburg. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial was in Michigan. -- jlr
