WAYNETOWN, Ind. (CNS) --Mrs. Flo McBroom, 86, died at 1:10 p.m. Monday (Jan. 26, 1970) at the Bowles Convalescent Home, Crawfordsville, where she had been a patient since May of 1962. Born July 16, 1883, near Waynetown, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary Fletcher Huckey. She married Bert McBroom in December 1900, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Waynetown Baptist Church and the Delta Alpha Class. She attended schools in the Waynetown area. She also was preceded in death by a daughter and a son-in-law. Surviving are one sister-in-law, Mrs. Anna Williams of Whiteland, Ind.; and three nieces. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown, with the Rev. Rob James officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. tonight.

Waynetown -- Flo McBroom, 86, a resident nearly all her life in this community died at 1:10 p.m. Monday in Bowles Convalescent Home at Crawfordsville where she had lived since 1952.  

She was born near Waynetown on July 16, 1882, a daughter of Charles and Mary Fletcher Huckey. She married Bert McBroom in December 1900.  He preceded her in death.

Mrs. McBroom was a member of Waynetown Baptist Church and its Delta Alpha Class.  Surviving are a sister-in-law, Mrs. Anna Williams of Indianapolis, three nieces of that city and several cousins.  A daughter, Mrs. Maude Suiters died in March 1955 and a son-in-law Floyd Suiters last Dec. 29.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Servies-Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Rob James officiating and interment in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
