HILLSBORO--News has been received by friends from Erret Rivers of Plainfield, formerly of Hillsboro, of the recent death of Marion McBroom, who was born and reared in Hillsboro. He had lived in Helena, Mont., for a number of years but was working in Grand Junction, Colo., when he suffered a fatal heart attack. Funeral services were in that city. He was the son of George and Ellen McBroom and was graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1916. He is survived by his widow, Mary McBroom and a daughter Patricia, five grandchildren and several cousins. Mr. Rivers is a step-brother. --typed by Walt W

HILLSBORO - Funeral services for Marion McBroom, age about 67, a native of Hillsboro, were held last week in Grand Junction, Colo. He had lived in Helena, Mont., several years but was working in Grand Junction when he was stricken with heart ailment. He was the son of George and Ellen McBroom and he was graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1916. Survivors include: the widow, Mary; one daughter, Patricia; five grandchildren, and one stepbrother, Everett Rivers of Plainfield. -- jlr
