McBROOM, Margaret Claman

Hillsboro March 27 Mrs. Margaret McBROOM about 20 (sic) years of age who has been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. John Murdock living just living just north of town was found in a dying condition about 4 o'clock yesterday evening. The Murdocks had been spending the day with their son Lewis and Mrs. McBroom had remained at home to look after the house she being in her usual good health, being a very much younger lady in appearance than she really was. During the day she had used the telephone a number of times calling the younger Murdock where the folks were visiting and only about 15 minutes before folks found her she had called one of her neighbors and carried on a cheerful conversation nothing at all seemingly the matter with her. When found she was lying on the floor near the stove in an unconscious condition, dying with a minute or less time, heart failure was of course the trouble. Mrs. McBroom has been a lifelong resident of this community. She leaves to mourn her loss, one brother, JW Hayes and two children, Mrs. John Murdock and JT Claman of this place. Besides many other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services at the ME Church at 10 Tuesday with interment in the Old Cemetery. She was children were born to the first marriage, the husband and 3 children preceding the mother and wife in death.
