Hillsboro – Harvey McBroom, 72, attorney, died Monday at his home here following a long illness. Born in this county, a son of Milton and Mary (Ainsworth) McBroom, he was married in 1888 to Daisy Fenton. Surviving are the widow; a son, Fred, Chicago and a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Crumley, Hillsboro. The funeral will be held at 10 o’clock Thursday morning at the Hillsboro Christian Church with Rev. Guy Carpenter, Indianapolis officiating; interment in Rose Hill cemetery. – kbz
