McBROOM, Dean

Dean McBROOM, 39, well known farmer who resides a short distance NE of Yeddo, Indiana died at 8:15 o'clock this evening in Lakeview Hospital, Danville, Ill as a result of injuries. The body will be sent to the McBroom home near Yeddo early Saturday morning. The dead man was born near Hillsboro, Indiana in 1892, the son of Mr. and Mrs. EK McBroom. He was married Jan 1, 1911 to Nellie Day, who survives. McBroom was known by many residents of Fountain Co in which he had lived for many years as a farmer, coal miner and trucker. He had become affiliated with the united brethren Church, one mile east of Yeddo, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Besides the widow, those surviving are two children, Doris, 19 and Thomas 17, both at home; a sister, Mrs. Meril Holland of Danville and half brother, Fred of Pine Village, Ind.
