McBRIDE, Louis Eugene - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

VEEDERSBURG. Ind. (CNS) - Services were in Crawfordsville for Louis McBride, 56, of 305 E. Main, Crawfordsville, a former Veedersburg resident Mr. McBride, a self-employed tax consultant and former employee of the Internal Revenue Service, died Monday (Nov. 8, 1976) in Culver Hospital of amythrophic lateral sclerosis or Lou Gehrig Disease. Services were at the Hunt and Son Funeral Home, with the Rev, Paul Jump officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Crawfordsville. Born Sept. 24, 1920, in Veedersburg, he was the son of Walter B. and Eva Verniece McBride. On Aug. 17, 1946, at Franklin, he married Mary I. Koons, who survives. Other survivors include a son, Larry Eugene of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Adursula) Hamilton Jr. of Crawfordsville; two grandchildren and several cousins in the Veedersburg-Covington area. The family has requested that any memorials be in the form of donations to the Indiana Chapters of National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.  -- jlr
