Hillsboro - The funeral services for James A. McAlister were held from the home north of here on Monday afternoon 1:30 o'clock conducted by Rev. HA Davis of this place. Interment in Masonic Cemetery, Waynetown. James A. McAlister died at his home Saturday evening after a lingering illness, having been confined to his bed almost two years. His death was caused by a complication fo diseases incident to old age. He was 80 and 51 years of his life were spent in the community where he died. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Rosa Cooper of Mellott and 5 sons: John of near here; Charles and Lloyd residing at home; Otis of Yeddo and Hurley of Kingman. Two half brothers, David McAlister of near here and Chris McAlister of Rockville and one half sister Mrs. Jap Salbury of Guthrie Ok also survive.
