McALISTER, Flossie Clark - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

  Flossie Kathern McAlister of Lafayette, formerly of Mellott, age 83, died Sunday morning, May 16, in Home Hospital at Lafayette. She was born at Riverside, June 23, 1898, the daughter of Lorenzo and Iona Pearson Clark. August 23, 1919, she married Ralph McAlister, who preceded her in death. Mrs. McAlister was a member of the United Methodist Church and Royal Neighbors and had been employed as a seamstress at Hillsdale Manufacturing Company.

  Survivors are three sisters, Rose Clark, Alice Clark and Rae Nelson, all of Lafayette; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were three children.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Maus Chapel in Attica. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. – thanks to S
