McALISTER, Dorothy Reichard - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

MELLOTT --- Mrs. Dorothy R. McAlister, 78, of Mellott died Tuesday afternoon at 3:25 p.m. in Carmen Nursing Home at Crawfordsville. She had been a patient there three years. Born Jan. 19, 1901, at Foresman, Ind., she was a daughter of Alva and Mary Cook Reichard. She was married in January 1937 to Ray McAlister who died in October 1960. Mrs. McAlister attended Mellott School. She was a member of Mellott United Church of Christ and a former member of Mellott Fish and Game Club. Surviving are several cousins including Mrs. Connie Leeds of Hillsboro. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home at Hillsboro with the Rev. Oscar Hybarger officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. this evening.  --typed by Walt W
