LYONS, William N. - L-Obituaries

William N. Lyons, 63, a resident of Covington 13 years died Tuesday in the St. Elizabeth Hospital.  He was born in 1894 in Marshfield, Ind the son of Joseph and Martha Miller Lyons and he married Nellie Edith Wood in 1921. She survives with three daughters: Mrs. Eileen Barcley of Newport; Mrs. Rhea Payne of Stone Bluff and Mrs. Josephine Keeling of Covington;; five sons: Glennwood of Louisville; Lester of Fort Wayne; Bob of Dayton; Leland of Covington and James of Veedersburg; three sisters: Mrs. Mary Hershberger of New Richmond; Mrs. Nellie Duval of Covington and Mrs. Ruth Allen of Perrysville; two brothers, Dan of Danville and Ralph of Covington and 16 grandchildren. Services were held Thursday at Hegg Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Ray officiating, assisted by the Rev. VC McCormick. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery. – kbz
