Ralph Lyons, 58, uncle of Mrs. Julian Jacobson of Lafayette, died Saturday in St. Elizabeth hospital at Danville, Ill., after an illness of 10 months. He moved from Lafayette to Covington 18 years ago. Surviving with the widow, June, is a daughter, Cheryl, at home. - jlr

Ralph R. Lyons, 58, a resident of Covington, died about 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, 1961, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville. He had been hospitalized since Wednesday and ill 10 months.
He had worked in the Fountain Foundry at Veedersburg and was formerly employed at the Harrison Steel Castings Co. at Attica.
Born April 10, 1903, in Warren County, he was the son of Joseph and Martha Miller Lyons. He married June Wagoner in 1944. She survives.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Baptist Church in Covington with burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Hegg Funeral Home in charge. - jz
