Mrs. Herbert Ellis, 504 Wallace Ave., has received word of the death of her brother-in-law, Ora V. Lyons. He died Monday at his home at 1417-1/4 Sierra Bonite Ave., Los Angeles, Calif. He was born in Hillsboro and grew up there. He also was a former Crawfordsville resident and worked as an interior decorator while living here. He was married to Bertha Ellis Shuler. Survivors include his sister-in-law; a grandson, Robert Shuler of Crawfordsville, and many other relatives. Funeral services were held in Los Angeles.

Word of the death of Ora V. Lyons, has been received in Hillsboro. Mr. Lyons died at his home in Los Angeles on Monday, May 20.
He was born and grew up in Hillsboro. He was married to the former Bertha Ellis Shuler, who survives. Mr. Lyons was an interior decorator and had resided in Los Angeles for the past several years, where the funeral services were held.
He was a brother of the late William Lyons of Hillsboro. - jz

Private funeral service was held at the Smith Salsbury Mortuary in Culver City, California, for Ora V. Lyon, with Rev. Merle Fish, pastor of Pico Arlington Christian Church ] officiating. Interment was in Inglewood Park Cemetery.
He was born in Hillsboro, the son of George and Mary Lyon and moved to California in 1924. He is survived by his widow, Bertha Shuler Lyon, of Los Angeles, a step-son, Robert M. Shuler, of Sepulveda, Calif., and a step-daughter, Mrs. Al Wilson, of Santa Barbara, California. - jz
