Joyce Ann Lyons of Hillsboro, age 43, died Wednesday morning, June 29, at her home. She was born in Veedersburg, September 16, 1939, the daughter of Orville and Ruby Kennedy Booe. September 20, 1958, she married Richard Lyons, who survives. Mrs. Lyons was a member of Hillsboro United Methodist Church and Firemen’s Auxiliary. She was a 1957 graduate of Hillsboro High School.

Also surviving are twin daughers, Tracey Sue and Trena Ann, both at home; a son, Timothy of Hillsboro; three sisters, Hilda Teagarden of Covington, Thelma Mathis of Hillsboro, and Linda Kesler of Tipton; a brother, Fred Booe of Hillsboro; and two grandchildren.

The body was taken from Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro to the Hillsboro United Methodist Church for services Friday morning. Rev. Stephen Denehle officiated and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. – thanks so much to S
