Mrs. Agnes Lovada Lyons, 43, of State Line, Ill., died at 9:20 a.m. yesterday (May 16, 1967) in St. Elizabeth Hospital where she had been a patient one week. Born Aug. 16, 1923, in Arkansas, she was a daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Jack Brown. Surviving are her husband, Johnnie, three daughters, Linda, Angie and Donna all at home; five sisters, Mrs. Edna Florida of Bernie, Mo., Mrs. Hester Lawery of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Ruth Dunning to Bakersfield, Calif., Mrs. Josephine Watkins of Attica, Ind., and Mrs. Mandy Cannady of Fish, Mo., and a brother, Jack Brown of Niles, Mich. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister. She had resided at State Line 11 years. She was employed at the TWR condenser plant in Hoopeston. Mrs. Lyons was a member of the State Line Church of the Nazarene. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the State Line Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Bertha Knox will officiate. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at State Line. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Friday. Friends will be received at the Barrick & Son Funeral Home in Danville 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. --Typed by Debby Masterson.
