Watseka (CNS) -- William Frank Lyon, 78, of 211 E. Ash, Watseka, died yesterday afternoon (June 2, 1965) in the Iroquois Hospital where he was admitted Monday. He had resided in Watseka 21 years. Born June 1, 1887, in Harvey County, Kansas, he was a son of Dwight B. and Mary Belange Lyon. He was married Aug. 26, 1915, at Newton, Kan., to Nettie I. Purget who survives. Also surviving are two sons, William of Western Springs, Ill., and Richard O. of Urbana; a daughter, Mrs. John (Florabelle) Harper of Peoria; seven grandchildren, and two sisters living in Kansas. Mr. Lyon moved to Iroquois County in 1918 and farmed for several years in Belmont Township. The body is at the Segir Funeral Home where friends will be received after 2 pm. Friday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Lawry of Woodland officiating. Burial will be in the Body Cemetery at Woodland. --typed by Walt W
