Bertha M. Lynch, 78, of R.R. 1, West Lebanon, died at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 1976, at the Home Hospital, Lafayette where she had been a patient since December 17. She had been in ill health since May.
  She was born in Hot Springs, Ark. on May 2, 1898, the daughter of George and Mary Williams.
  She had lived near Kentland prior to moving to Warren County in 1936. She was married to William D. Lynch in 1928 at East St. Louis, Il. He preceded her in death in 1959.
  She was a homemaker and domestic worker, and was a member of West Lebanon Christian Church.
  She is survived by one son, Clarence Lynch of R.R. 1, Boswell. Also two brothers, Alfred Williams of Glendale, Ariz. And Henry Williams of Albuquerque, N. Mexico, one sister, Mrs. Edna Link of Springfield, Mo.
  Three grandchildren, Kathy, Penny and Bill Lynch survive. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
  Services were at the West Lebanon Christian Church with Rev. Leonard Largent officiating. Burial was in the West Lebanon Cemetery. - s
