William A. Lucas, age 65, of Kokomo, brother of Claude C. Lucas of 515 Eighth St., died at 5 a.m. today, March 13, in Kokomo. His death was sudden and unexpected and is thought to have resulted from a heart attack. Mr. Lucas was born in Shelbyville, Ill., the son of Charles C. and Belle B. Lucas. He had been a school teacher for 42 years and was planning to retire after this school year. He had taught music in the Kokomo schools for the past nine years. He had never married. Surviving, in addition to his brother in Covington, is another brother, Travers G. Lucas of Indianapolis. The body is at the Fenns Funeral Home in Kokomo where funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in a Kokomo cemetery. --typed by Walt W
