Mrs. Arthur (Nellie Pearl) Lucas, age 61, a resident of Covington Rt. 3, died at 1:50 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1. She had been in ill health for several years. Mrs. Lucas was born Jan. 26, 1905, near Yountsville, the daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth Martin Cornett. She was married Feb. 14, 1924 to Arthur Lucas, who survives. She was a member of the Christian Church, the Merry-Go-Round Club and the Pythian Sisters Lodge of Covington. Surviving, in addition to the husband, are one son, Earl of Baltimore, Md., two grandchildren, three brothers, Virgil of Wendover, Utah, John of Sommerille, Ohio, and William (Milt) of Hamilton, Ohio, and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Wilson of Idaho and Mrs. Ruby Sussich of Wendover, Utah. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bedine an Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev.
