LUCAS, Mary Martin - L-Obituaries

ATTICA — Mary Elsie (Martin) Lucas, 89, 257 E. 400 N., Attica (Hickman Heights), died at 12 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, 2000 in St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. She had been a patient less than one day. She was born April 26, 1911 in Liberty Township, Warren County. She married Frank W. Lucas Dec. 24, 1928 in Williamsport. He preceded in death June 9, 1974. She lived all of her life in the Hickman Heights area of Warren County and had lived one mile from where she was born. She attended Kramer and Judyville schools. She formerly worked at Radio Material Corp. in Attica for 15 years as a loader. Survivors include: two sons, Raymond Lucas and Gene (Janell) Lucas, both of Attica; six grandchildren, Frankie Lucas, Doug Lucas, Jerry Lucas, Kenny Lucas, Tammy Beckett and Lisa Johnson; nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Friday in Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with the Rev. Jerry Burt officiating. Burial was in Rainsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rainsville Cemetery Association. – jlr
