LOWERY, Ruby Myers - L-Obituaries

Ruby Lowery, 64, RR 7, Crawfordsville, died at 10:18 p.m. Sunday, December 4, at Home Hospital in Lafayette.

  Born June 29, 1919 near Wallace, she was the daughter of Ormy and Susie Myers Myers. She married Robert Lowery who died in 1959. She then married Chester Lowery, who survives.

  She was a member of Crawfordsville Church of God and had worked at Purdue University and a Waveland restaurant. She attended Wallace High School.

  Other survivors include six sons, James of Kokomo, Donald, Harold, Joseph and Russell, all of Lafayette, and Kenneth of Summitville; two daughters, Mary N. Lowery of Lafayette, and Ellen Foster of West Lafayette; three stepsons, Chester of RR 1, Waveland, Wesley of Florida, and Charles of Marion; two stepdaughters, Eva Mae Vaughan and Clara Conners of Florida; a sister, Flora Keeling of RR 2, Veedersburg; 15 grandchildren and nine step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister.
