Thomas J. Lowe, the son of Benjamin and Rachel Goudy Lowe was born Vermillion County, Indiana Nov 20, 1866. Departed this life Sept 30, 1919 aged 52 years 10 months 10 days.  He leaves to mourn their loss, his wife and four children, David Lowe and Mrs. West of Danville, Ill and two daughters at home, Daisey and Eva Lowe.  Also two brothers, Chas. F. Lowe of Covington and George F. Lowe of Attica; three half brothers, Elijah Lowe of Vernon, Texas; Frank Lowe of Tomball, Texas and David Talbert of Covington, Ind and two half sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Wilson of Cayuga and Mrs Catherine Reigle of Spencer. Thomas Lowe was an industrious hard working man and had been all his life. He has gone to receive  the reward that has been laid up for him, by One that measures out justice to everyone as he has lived his life. As a neighbor and friend he was never found wanting and loved life with his family and his home. The funeral services conducted by Rev. Cyrus Briles were held at Grange Hall near his late home at 3 p.m. Thursday interment following in the adjoining cemetery. The bereaved have the sympathies of all. - kbz
