Louise Nave Lowe, 82, 647 N Section St, LaRue, died at 1:52 p.m. Monday in Marion General Hospital. She was born Jan 31, 1902 in Attica, Indiana to Alton (sic) P. and Carolyn (sic) Campbell Nave. In 1926 she was married to Benjamin Prince Field, who died in 1930. Her second marriage was in 1950 to Earl W. Lowe who died in 1974. A former employee of the advertising department of the Marion Star she was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Marion; Capt. William Hendricks Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution and LaRue Senior Citizens and a graduate of National Park College, Forest Glen, MD. Surviving are a son, Richard N. Field, LaRue; two stepson, retired Capt BP Field, Long Island NY; and Clarence Frank Field, Sonoma, Calif; a sister, Marie Nave Gibson, Marion 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Two brothers are deceased. The service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, by the Rev. J. Brien McGarvey. Burial will be in LaRue Cemetery. No calling hours will be observed at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to LaRue United Methodist Church.
