John Lowe, son of George and Mary Lowe, was born near Wallace, Fountain Co In Aug 17, 1833 and departed this life Oct 14, 1915 age 82Y1M27D death being due to chronic cystitis. He was united in marriage to Rebecca Day may 26, 1886 and to this union was born one child, Grayce Ione East. The deceased spent all his life in the vicinity of Wallace until 5 years ago when he moved to Kingman where he lived until his death. Although not affiliated wit any particular church, he was a firm believer in Him who doeth all things well and tried to live in such a way that the world would be the better for his having been a part of it, and while sadness and sorrow has cast its night of gloom over the bereaved family and to the sad reality of this parental loss, it is difficult to realize that all is for the better. He leaves to mourn their loss a loving wife, who so patiently and tenderly cared for him in his affliction, one daughter, two brothers, two sisters and many relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by Levi Woody from the home on last Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial was made in the Zackmire Cemetery east of this place.

JOHN LOWE, son of George and Mary Lowe, was born near Wallace, Fountain county, Indiana, August 17, 1833 and departed this life October 14, 1915, age 82 years, 1 month and 27 days, death being due to chronic cystitis.
He was united in marriage to Rebecca Day May 26, 1886 and to this union was born one child, Grayce Ione East.
Deceased spent all his life in the vicinity of Wallace until five years ago when he moved to Kingman where he lived until his death.
