LOWE, Amanda Livengood

Mrs. Amanda Catherine Lowe, 86, former resident of Fountain county, died at 4 o'clock Wednesday morning in Indianapolis. She had been ill for some time with a complication of diseases. Mrs. Lowe was born January 26 1851, near Wallace, the daughter of Andrew and Mary A. Parnell Livengood. She was married to Isaiah Lowe sixty years ago. Her husband has been dead for about twenty years. She was a member of the Livengood Lutheran church near Wallace. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lola Moffett, 306 Irvington Avenue, Indianapolis two sons, John Lowe, Paris, Ill., and Harry Lowe, near Wallace; a brother
Solomon Livengood, near Hillsboro; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The body was removed on Thursday afternoon to the home of a daughter in law, Mrs. Cora Lowe. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 o'clock Friday
morning at the Wallace Lutheran church in charge of Rev. W. C. Donaldson.
Burial will be in the cemetery adjoining the church. Died April 2 1937.
