VEEDERSBURG - Funeral services for Mrs. Fern Love of Anderson, former Veedersburg resident, were held in Summitville. Mrs. Love, a sister of Mrs. Effie Barker, died in St. John's Hospital at Anderson. A native of Veedersburg, she was reared in the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Elliot. She was married to Howard Love who also survives. - jlr

VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) - Mrs. Fern Simpkins Love, 57, of Anderson, a former Fountain County resident, died yesterday (Jan. 3, 1969) at St. Johns Hospital in Anderson after an extended illness. Mrs. Love was born Jan. 12, 1911 near Veedersburg and was reared in the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Elliott after the death of her mother. She was married to Howard Love, who survives, along with a sister, Mrs. Effie Barker of Veedersburg. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Ewing Funeral Home in Summitville with burial there. - jlr
