Veedersburg - Mrs. Opal Mozella Lockwood, 48, died at 6 a.m. Wednesday in the tuberculosis sanitarium at Rockville. She had been a patient there one week and has been in failing health eight years. Born May 4, 1913, at Royalton she was a daughter of Quincy and Armanda Wolf Ford. She married Houghton Lockwood of Veedersburg in 1933. Mrs. Lockwood attended the Bethel Assembly Church at Covington. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Shielda Harbard of Covington; three sisters, Mrs. Beulah SHirley of Indianapolis and Mrs. Blanche Jacques and Mrs. Flossie Stewart, both of Lebanon and two grandchildren. Funeral rites are announced for 2 p.m. Friday at Fishero Funeral Home here with Rev. Jack Miller officiating. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Mozella Lockwood, Veedersburg, passed away at 5:55 a..m. Wednesday, August 23, 1961 at a Rockville sanatorium where she had been a patient for one week. She had been in ill health for 8 years.
Mrs. Lockwood was born in Royalton, Hendricks County, May 4, 1913, the daughter of Quincy Ford and Amanda Wolfe Ford. She was married to Houghton Lockwood, Veedersburg, in 1933. He survives along with a daughter, Mrs. Shielda Harbard, of Covington.
Also surviving are two grandchildren and three sisters: Mrs. Beulah Shirley, Indianapolis, Mrs. Blanche Jacques and Mrs. Flossie Stewart, both of Lebanon.
Mrs. Lockwood attended the Bethel Assembly Church in Covington.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Fishero Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Jack Miller will officiate, and burial will be made at Rockfield Cemetery.
