LIVENGOOD, Winfred W. - L-Obituaries

Word was received in Hillsboro Wednesday of the death of Winfred W. LIVENGOOD, 80 of Hillsdale, New Jersey formerly of Hillsboro. He died at a nursing home in Hillsdale Tuesday night. He was the son of Pleasant and Hester Grimes Livengood and was born on a farm South of Hillsboro on Aug 4, 1881. He was a 50 year member of the Hillsboro Masonic Lodge and was principal of Hillsboro school 2 years. He later taught in the Shortridge HS in Indianapolis. He had lived in New York and New Jersey for a number of years and was Vice President of the American Book Company. He is survived by the widow, two sons & one daughter of Hillsdale; a sister, Mrs. Cora Walker of Williamsport, Ind. He is also survived by an uncle, Austin Livengood of Hillsboro. He was preceded in death by one brother, Albert.
