SAN ANGELO, Texas — Rosella S.
Livengood, 75, San Angelo, Texas died Saturday, June 10, 2006 in San Angelo.
She was born Dec. 14, 1930 in Attica, the last of seven children born to Pete
and Helen (Culhane) Smith. She married Donald Livengood June 11, 1950 at the
home of his parents, with the Rev. Miller officiating. He preceded in death
Feb. 19, 1988 in Ft. Stockton, Texas. She graduated from Attica High School in
1949 and was a resident until 1981. At the time of her husband's death he was
employed for Tesoro Oil Co., based in San Antonio. They formerly owned and
operated Fewryis Tire and Battery. They sold the business in February 1981 and
moved the business to Bastrop, Texas, they transferred with the company to Ft.
Stockton in 1986. She worked with Commanche Truck Terminal until she retired in
1999 and moved to San Angelo. Survivors include: a daughter, Claudia Nichols,
San Angelo; a son, Robert Livengood, Chandler, Ariz.; her grandchildren, Donnie
(Laura) McMurtrie, Tye, Texas, Pearl (Tony) Gray, Kentucky, Jessica Livengood,
Chandler, Ariz., Charles (Diane) Nichols, Burleson, and Wendy (Tommy) Sloan,
Bedford; and her great-grandchildren, Heather and Brandon Gray and Chelsea and
Brittany Townsend. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and a
sister. Gravesite services will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) in Riverside
Cemetery, Attica. Maus Funeral Home, Attica, is in charge of local
arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or the
American Diabetes Association. – jlr
