Hillsboro - Mrs. Maude Livengood, 81 died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday (Oct 8) here at the home of Effie Bever where she had resided the past three months. Born Oct 20, 1879, near Newtown, she was a daughter of Ham and Emma Applegate Wright. She was married Jan 10, 1900 to Austin Livengood. Mr. and Mrs. Livengood moved to this community several years ago. Mrs. Livengood was a member of the Prairie Chapel Church. Her only survivor is her husband. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister. Funeral rites are announced for 2 p.m. Thuesday at Crumley Funeral Home here with Rev. John R. Servies of Crawfordsville in charge. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funral home after 4 p.m. Monday. Friends are asked to omit flowers.

Mrs. Maude Livengood, 81, a lifetime resident of Fountain County, died at the home of Mrs. Effie Bever in Hillsboro Sunday evening. She had been ill for the past four months.
Born October 20, 1879 near Newtown the daughter of, Ham and Emma Applegate Wright and attended the Newtown school. She was married Jan. 10, 1900 to Austin Livengood, of Hillsboro and all of their married life had been spent in this vicinity. She was a member of the Prairie Chapel Church near Hillsboro.
The husband survives.
Funeral service was held at the Crumley Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. John Servies, of Crawfordsville officiating. Organ music by Mrs. Lucy Crumley. Pall bearers were: Robert Bell, Don Bell, Paul Harshbarger, Tom Hightower, Lyron Ford and Philip Helmick. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. - jz
