LAFAYETTE — Frances M. (Tibbett)
Livengood, 88, formerly of 704 Ferry St., Lafayette, and had been residing at
Rosewalk Village, died at 11:45 p.m. Sunday Nov. 11, 2001 in Rosewalk Village.
She was born June 2, 1913 in Lodi, the daughter of Curtis and Bessie Reed
Tibbett. She married Charles Owen Livengood Aug. 21, 1930 in Rockville. He
preceded in death Sept. 8, 1973. She formerly lived in Parke County and Attica
and had resided in Lafayette since 1967. She attended school in Parke County,
Cates, Kingman and Tangier. She worked for many years as a cook for a local
restaurant in Attica. She formerly attended the Attica Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include: two sons, Earl K. (Golda) Livengood, Dayton and Harry Owen
(Alice M.) Livengood, Quality, Ky.; three daughters, Doris Smith, Monticello,
Della Ann (Charles) Fellure, West Lafayette, and Delores (George) Greer,
Brownsburg; 24 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren and three
great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ira Livengood;
a daughter, Donis Farley; a granddaughter, Frances Elena Greer; three brothers,
and six sisters. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m.
today (Wednesday) in Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with President Michael F.
Livengood officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, east of Attica. – jlr
