ATTICA -- Funeral services for Claude Livengood, age 62, of 705 S. Brady St., Attica, who died at 12:45 A. M. Saturday, Jan. 15, in St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Lafayette, were held at 2 p. m. Monday at the Roemer Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Ronny DeLong officiated. Mr. Livengood, who had been in ill health for the past few years, was seriously ill five weeks. He was born Nov. 6, 1903, the son of Ben and Eva Robbins Livengood. In 1923, he was married to Elva Marie Benjamin, who survives. He worked at Harrison Steel Foundry for 43 years. Mr. Livengood attended school in Veedersburg and Stone Bluff. He was a member of the Christian Church in Attica. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: four sons, Donald, Dale and Howard, all of Attica, and Lewis of Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs. Marie McCorkle of West Point and Mrs. Ruth Richey of Attica; and 13 grandchildren. --typed by Walt W
