ATTICA - Robert Leroy Lister, age 43, of 209 West Monroe St., Attica, died at the Community Hospital in Williamsport at 9:10 a.m. Friday, March 13. He had been a patient there since Thursday, March 12. He had been hospitalized there one week prior to this and was dismissed on Wednesday, being admitted again on Thursday. Mr. Lister was born in Attica Sept. 20, 1926, the son of Charles William and Zelma Jenkins Lister. He was a life resident of Attica. He had been employed in Veedersburg at the Fountain Foundry for six weeks. Prior to this, he had worked at Purdue University in maintenance for 15 years. He also had worked at the IGA and Grab-It-Here stores in Attica. He attended the Nazarene Church here. He was married Aug. 9, 1947, to Clara Mae Young, who survives. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: his mother, Mrs. Zelma Lister of Attica; one son, Robert Lynn Lister of Attica; three daughters, Mary Glynalin Lister of Attica, Mrs. Dianna K. Gosnell of Attica and Jacqualine Lee Lister of Williamsport; four brothers, Ernest of Benton Harbor, Mich., Wilbur R. of Attica, Lurane of Lafayette and Everett of Williamsport; four sisters, Mrs. Harley Butler, Mrs. Herbert Rice and Mrs. Roger Ingram, all of Attica, and Mrs. Clyde Knipe of Williamsport, and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the DeSutter Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. A. L. Taylor officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery, in Attica. - jlr

ATTICA -- Robert LeRoy Lister, 209 W. Monroe St., Attica, died 9:10 a.m. Friday at Community Hospital in Williamsport where he had been a patient since Thursday morning: however, he had been a patient there for a week prior to that.
He was born in Attica on Sept. 20, 1926, the son of Charles William and Zelma Jenkins Lister. For the past six weeks he had been employed in Veedersburg at the Fountain Foundry, and prior to that had been in the maintenance department at Purdue University for 15 years, He had also bee employed at the Grab-it and IGA stores in Attica. He had attended the Nazarene Church in Attica. He was married Aug. 9 1946, to Clara Mae Young, Who survives.
Surviving with the wife are his mother, Mrs. William Lister, Attica; one son, Robert Lynn, Attica; three daughters, Mary Glynalin Lister, Attica; Jacqualine Lee Lister, Williamsport; Mrs. Diana K. Gosnell, Attica; four brother, Ernest Lister, Benton Harbor, Mich., Wilbur Lister, Attica; Lurane Lister, Lafayette; Evertte Lister, Williamsport; four sisters, Mrs. Harley (Anna) Butler, Attica; Mrs. Herbert (Ruth) Rice, Attica; Mrs. Roger (Barbara) Ingram, Attica; Mrs. Clyde (Maxine) Knipe, Williamsport. Two grandchildren also survive.
Friends will be received at DeSutter Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be helb in the DeSutter Chapel 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. A.L. Taylor officiating. Interment will follow min Riverside Cemetery in Attica.

Funeral services for Robert LeRoy Lister, 43, of 209 W. Monroe St., Attica, who died 9:10 a.m. Friday at Community Hospital in Williamsport, were held at the DeSutter Funeral Home 2 p.m. Monday, with Rev. A.L. Taylor, officiating.
Serving as pallbearers were Donald Butler, Ronald Butler, Billy Lister, Jeff Roe, Joe Whitehead and Frank Gee.
"The old Rugged Cross" and "In the Garden" were played on the organ. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery with DeSutter Funeral Home in Charge.
