Hillsboro, April 8 – Funeral service for Mrs. Mattie W. Linville, who suffered a heart attack at her home in Hillsboro Tuesday which caused her death a few hours later was held from the late home at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Rev. Guy E. Tremaine of Waynetown officiated.  Mrs. Lucille Parnell and Mrs. Mabel Brown sang, Home of the Soul and Unclouded Day, accompanied by Mrs. Mary Starnes as pianist, Mrs. Parnell sang as a solo, Lead Kindly Light.  The pall bearers were LL Wood, Victor Bever, Leslie Bell, Hyson J. Myer, George Birge and Alva Myers. Members of the Eastern Star were tribute bearers: Ruth Farie Templeton, Nellie Eitnier, Lillie Fye, Jane Frazier, Floro Starnes and Lucille Tyler.  Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery, Hillsboro. – kbz

Hillsboro, April 8—Funeral service for Mrs. Mattie W.
