LINTON, Anna J. - L-Obituaries

New Richmond- Anna J. Linton, 91, 329 Franklin St, New Richmond died 4:52 p.m. Jan 24, 1995 at Culver Union Hospital, Crawfordsville.  She was born June 24, 1903 at Covington, the daughter of Joseph E. and Myrtle Kerns Martin. She married Arch Linton Sept 26, 1923. He preceded in death Dec 27, 1958. She was a longtime member of the First Christian Church of Covington and more recently a member of the New Richmond Christian Church.  She lived in the Covington area until 1960 when she moved to the New Richmond area.  Surviving are two sons, Everett (Lois) Linton, Monticello; Russell (Virginia) Linton, Crawfordsville; a sister Jessie Brown, Linton; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren, a brother and two sisters.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington with her grandson, Dr. Gregory Linton officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today (Friday). Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington. –-- kbz
