Attica, Ind Dec 15 – Alfred Linn, 84, one of the oldest and best known citizens of Attica died this morning at 4 o’clock at the family home on 5th Street. Mr. Linn was born in Sweden and came to this country when a young boy. He had been a resident of Attica for over 60 years. He and his wife, formerly Augusta Burke celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last fall. He was a life long member of the Swedish Lutheran Church and took an active part in all church work. He was also a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Attica. Mr. Linn was a carriage builder by trade and, later, was janitor at the Attica school for several years. Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Emma Parkinson of Lafayette and Mrs. Frank Smith of Oklahoma City, Okla and one son, Charles Linn of Attica. Two grandchildren, W. Linn Parkinson and Mrs. Helen Reitzel both of Lafayette also survive. – s
