Veedersburg April 16 -- Richard Linker, 61, died at his home in Veedersburg at an early hour Sunday. He had been in failing health for several months and his condition became critical one week ago. Born in Veedersburg in November 19, 1882, he was the son of Edward and Mary Miller Linker. He was a carpenter contractor and a life resident of Veedersburg. On June 19, 1904, he was married to Lillie Kelley, who survives along with 8 children and 12 grandchildren. The children include Mrs. Mildred Florey, Mrs. Helen Penik, Mrs. Virginia Furr and Barbara Jean, all of Veedersburg, Mrs. doris Hankins of Crawfordsville, Paul and Harold of Veedersburg and Claude who is serving overseas wth the US Army. A brothr, John Lnker lives in San Francisco, Calif. The body will be taken Monday night from the Fishero Funeral Home at the home of his daughter , Ms. Mildred Florey. Funeral services will be held from the daughter's home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Charles Howard officiating. Interment in Rockfield Cemetery.
