Mrs. Lillian Linker, widow of the late Richard Linker, died suddenly at her home in Veedersburg, Tuesday afternoon, after suffering a stroke early that morning. Mrs. Linker was a well known Veedersburg lady, and had been a resident of this community her entire life. She was born near Yeddo March 19, 1888, the daughter of William and Sarah Williams Kelley. She was married to Richard Linker, who passed away this spring on June 19, 1904. She was a member of the United Brethren Church and both she and her family are highly regarded. She is survived by three sons; Paul and Harold both of Veedersburg and Claude who is stationed overseas with the armed forces; 5 daughter, Mrs. Virginia Furr of Indianapolis; Mrs. Doris Hankins of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Mildred Florey and Mrs. Helen Pennick of Veedersburg and Barbara at home; one brother, Henry Kelley of Monmouth, Ill and one sister, Mrs. Leona Lagomora, whose husband is stationed with the Army in Texas. Funeral services will be at the Linker residence Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, with Rev. Charles Howard officiating. Burial will be in Rockfield cemetery with Fishero Funeral Home in charge.
