Wm. H. Lindley, an aged resident of Fulton Twp died at the county asylum last wed evening after a brief illness. He was born and lived his entire life near Cates, about 5 miles northeast of this place. Last fall he became an inmate of the county asylum on account of the failure of his relatives to get along with him. The body was brought to Cates last Thursday and funeral services were held Friday, enterment in the Cates cemetery.

Died March 22, 1911 – born April 19, 1847 Fountain County. Listed on his death record, “Inmate County Farm,” Informant was Henry Lindley of Silverwood. Passed of Bright’s Disease. Father: Aaron born in NC and Mother: Julia Dotson born NC. Buried “Cates” by M. Boord.
