Kingman - Orval Lindley, 73, former Kingman resident and retired telephone company lineman, died Tuesday in Lakeview Hospital, Danville, Ill. He had been in ill health for the past six months. He had been a resident of Potomac, Ill several years. He was a 50-year member of Kingman F&AM and Danville Scottish Rite. Born May 1, 1899, at Kingman, he was a son of Cyrus and Della Kitchen Lindley. He was married to Vivian Hubbard Feb 14, 1926. She survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ramona Shaffer of Tilton, Ill; Mrs. Evelyn Tingley of Las Vegas, Nev and Mrs. Barbara Hodge of Danville, Ill; a son, Leon of Rochester, Ill; a brother, Collis of Atlantic highland, NJ; 9 grandchildren and five greats. Services will be conducted Friday in Lanhan Funeral Home at Potomac with Rev. Gary Jones officiating. Graveside rites will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday at Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. -- kbz
